Thankful for You. Room for Every Feeling.

This November, we are grateful for the trust our clients and community place in You Matter Counseling Services.

The holidays can bring comfort, connection, grief, or stress—sometimes all at once. You do not have to feel thankful every moment to belong here.

Make room for rest. Notice one small comfort. Reach out when you need support.

You matter, in every season.

Thanksgiving Office Closure

Our office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. Wishing you moments of comfort, connection, and gratitude.

Honoring Our Veterans

This Veterans Day, we thank those who served and the families who stand beside them.

With special love and gratitude, we honor our founder’s grandpa, Richard “Ricky” Sisneros, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Thank you, Pa, for your service and the care you have given to others.

You Are Not Alone in Your Grief

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day • November 21, 2026

We hold space for everyone grieving a loved one lost to suicide. There is no right timeline for grief, and you do not have to carry it alone.

A local gathering offers remembrance, connection, and support on Saturday, November 21, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Unity Spiritual Center, 9800 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque.

View event details and registration through Survivors of Suicide ABQ.

Caring for Mind & Body

Physical and mental health are connected. Regular movement can support better sleep, ease feelings of anxiety and depression, and help us care for our overall well-being.

A walk, stretching, dancing, or time at the gym can be part of a routine that feels right for you. Small, manageable steps count, alongside rest, connection, and mental health care.

We are grateful to Ira and Eshita Herman of Anytime Fitness for donating free membership certificates for our clients. Thank you for helping make whole-person wellness more accessible.

Clients may contact our office to ask about certificate availability and details.
